March 2021 - When implants and prostheses are used surgically, there is always a high risk of infection for the patient. Bio-Gate has developed the antiviral and antimicrobial implant coating “HyProtect” especially for this area. It is already being used with great success at the Regensburg University Hospital. Bio-Gate and the clinic have been cooperating for years – to the benefit of patients and science.
